CALL TO ORDER

Mayor Acker called the meeting to order at 6 p.m. and acknowledged that City Council meets on the traditional land of Treaty 6 territory.

Deputy Mayor Swearing In Ceremony - Gillett

Councillor Jan Gillett was sworn in as Deputy Mayor for the period of June 27, 2023 to October 23, 2023.

Kylie Hennigan, Kristine Giurissevich, Madison Wills, and Julie Akers, of the Spruce Grove Playschool Society, attended to present regarding the Spruce Grove Playschool Society's lease with the City of Spruce Grove.

Deb Comfort, Director of Recreation and Culture, presented on the 2026 Alberta Winter Games Bid.

Spruce Grove Roadway Speed Limit Reductions

Mark Hussey, Director of Engineering, Rae-Lynne Spila, Municipal Engineer, and Andres Baez, Senior Transportation Planning Engineer, Morrison Hersfeld, presented on Spruce Grove Roadway Speed Limit Reductions.
