Mayor Acker called the meeting to order at 6 p.m. and acknowledged that City Council meets on the traditional land of Treaty 6 territory.

Councillor Carter proclaimed March 8, 2023 as International Women's Day on behalf of Council.

Councillor Danielle Carter was sworn in as Deputy Mayor for the period of February 28, 2023 to June 26, 2023.

David Wolanski, General Manager of Community and Protective Services, introduced Jeff Tokar, Chair of the Community Road Safety Advisory Committee.

Jeff Tokar provided a presentation on the Community Road Safety Advisory Committee 2023 Work Plan.

Council thanked Jeff Tokar for the presentation.

David Wolanski, General Manager of Community and Protective Services, introduced Inspector McGillivray.

Inspector McGillivray provided a presentation on the Spruce Grove Municipal Crime Statistics.

Council thanked Inspector McGillivray for the presentation.
